About me
I’m Lora, a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Criminology. I’m currently completing further studies in Psychology, continually expanding my clinical expertise to give clients the highest level of care.
With years of experience in correctional and forensic settings, I have supported individuals through some of life’s most complex mental health challenges, helping them rebuild confidence, stability, and hope. Alongside this, I have also worked in youth services, giving me a broad understanding of the challenges faced across different stages of life. My work spans across cultures, and I have a deep commitment to supporting migrants and those navigating cross-cultural transitions. I speak German, English and Bulgarian, allowing me to connect with clients in the language they feel most comfortable.
In my practice, I offer a safe, respectful, and supportive space where you can explore your goals, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. For couples, I provide guidance to strengthen communication, rebuild connection, and develop practical strategies for a more balanced and fulfilling relationship. My work is grounded in inclusivity. I warmly welcome individuals and couples from the LGBTQ+ community into both counselling sessions and retreats, ensuring that everyone is met with acceptance, understanding and care.
