About me

Hi, I’m Lora, an AASW Accredited Social Worker offering online counselling to individuals and couples across Australia. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to slow down, reflect, and talk openly about what is happening in your life. Together, we focus on building clarity, resilience, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Criminology, and I am currently undertaking further studies in Psychology. My training also includes Level 1 and Level 2 in the Gottman Method, which informs my work with couples around communication, trust, and strengthening connection.

My professional background includes experience in correctional facilities, youth services, and family violence support, where I worked with individuals facing complex life challenges. These experiences have shaped my compassionate and grounded approach to supporting people through difficult emotions, relationship concerns, and important life transitions.

In my practice, I draw on Gottman-informed, strengths-based, and person-centred approaches, supporting individuals and couples experiencing relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, grief, self-esteem difficulties, workplace stress, and life changes. My work is grounded in respect, inclusivity, and cultural sensitivity, and I warmly welcome individuals and couples from the LGBTQ+ community.

Areas of focus:

  • Anger management and emotional regulation

  • Anxiety, stress, and burnout

  • Self-esteem and confidence

  • Life transitions and adjustment to change

  • Grief, loss, and palliative support

  • Couples counselling and family challenges

If you’re ready to take the next step toward change, I’m here to walk beside you.

Online counselling available Australia-wide.
